Photo and video
Drone
filming
An aerial shot shows what photos taken from the ground cannot: the scale of a site, its surroundings and access. That is why it is useful for selling property, promoting hotels and presenting production plants.
What an aerial shot shows better than a photo from the ground
From above, you can see the neighbourhood, access, parking and the distance to a forest or lake. With property, this often matters more than how the façade looks.
A production hall photographed from outside looks like an ordinary building. The same place seen from the air shows its area, manoeuvring yards and the size of the supporting facilities.
Aerial video is also useful in social media campaigns. See social media ads.
Who we film for
- Developers and sales offices: presenting a development and its surroundings
- Estate agencies: plots, houses, commercial properties
- Hotels, guesthouses and agritourism farms: the location and grounds around the property
- Production plants: halls, yards, logistics, material for business partners
- Construction companies: documenting progress from the same shots
- Event organisers: coverage of outdoor events and trade fairs
- Farms and forestry companies: inventory and promotional material
- Local authorities and institutions: investment sites and attractions
Licences, insurance and flight approvals
Drone flights are subject to regulations. The operator must hold a licence for the flight category and third-party liability insurance.
For industrial sites and developments, it is worth checking these documents before you book a session, because they determine whether the flight can take place at all.
Some locations lie in controlled zones around airports. Flights are possible there, but they require notification and approval, sometimes with a set time window. We arrange this before the session, so there is no waiting for approval on the day of filming.
The licence number, the liability insurance policy and who files the flight notification in a controlled zone. If you hear that notification is “not usually needed”, look for another operator.
Equipment and what really affects footage quality
Resolution is only one parameter, even though it is the one mentioned most often. Sensor size, dynamic range and recording in a profile prepared for colour grading also matter a lot. They decide whether the footage can be matched to the rest of the production.
Stabilisation and smooth movement are important. A shot that is sharp but recorded with jerky movement looks amateurish. That is why we plan flight paths before the session.
The time of day matters too. The same location filmed at noon and an hour before sunset gives two different sets of footage, and post-production cannot make up the difference. For more important jobs, we plan the session around specific light and book a backup date in case of bad weather.
Sample frames, a description of our equipment and details of our drone filming offer are on our website cyfrowenagrania.pl, which we run as a separate Cyfrowa Pomoc brand.
Post-production: finished footage in several versions
After filming comes shot selection, editing, colour grading, stabilisation and matching the pace to the purpose. A film for a website is edited differently from a short vertical format for social media.
From one session, we usually prepare several versions: a longer presentation film, a short one for your website, plus vertical and square versions for social media. On top of that, you get a set of high-resolution frames for web and print. We hand over the raw footage if you need it.
Frames from the session are also useful in the brand materials we prepare as part of graphic design. When choosing a filming contractor, watch out for these warning signs:
- An operator without a licence and without liability insurance
- No flight notification in a controlled zone
- Footage delivered as raw files, without editing or grading
- A single horizontal version, unusable on social media
- A session booked for one date, with no backup for bad weather
What a filming day looks like
We start by agreeing what the footage will be used for and which shots it must include. A sales film for a developer, construction progress documentation and footage for a trade fair are three different shot lists, even over the same site.
On site, we check the wind, visibility, obstacles and whether bystanders are present. When conditions do not allow a safe flight, we reschedule the session at no extra cost and tell you straight away.
We usually spend 2–4 hours on site, depending on the number of locations and shots. We deliver the edited footage within 3–5 working days of the session.
Documenting construction progress
Regular shots from the same points give comparative material that is useful in settlements with contractors, in reports for the investor and in communication with customers who buy during construction.
For residential developments, such material also helps sales: buyers see the progress without coming to the building site.
We set a fixed schedule and fixed shooting points so the shots can be compared. For longer cycles, we prepare a summary of the whole project, from excavation to handover.
What the cost of a drone session depends on
The cost depends on the session length and number of locations, the number of footage versions, whether a flight approval in a controlled zone is needed, travel, and whether ground shots, a voice-over and subtitles are required. Typical job scopes look like this:
| Scope | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Basic session | One location, editing, a film and a set of frames |
| Extended session | Several locations, vertical and square versions |
| Recurring documentation | Shots from the same points on a fixed schedule |
| Full production | Drone and ground shots, voice-over, subtitles |
We carry out sessions in the Lublin region (Lubelskie Province) and in Warsaw. Travel outside Lublin is charged and agreed individually. We price every project individually, and you get a free quote with a date within 24 hours.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Yes, provided the requirements on distance from bystanders are met and approval is obtained if the site lies in a controlled zone. In densely built-up areas, we plan the flight for quieter hours.
We reschedule at no extra cost. Strong wind, rain and poor visibility rule out a safe flight, and footage recorded in such conditions would not be usable anyway.
Usually within 3–5 working days of the session. We give the deadline for a specific job in the quote.
Yes. From the session, we usually prepare a set of high-resolution frames suitable for web and print.
Yes, for productions that need it. Combining aerial and ground shots gives fuller footage. For properties that also need to be shown inside, a good complement is often a virtual tour.
In the Lublin region (Lubelskie Province) and in Warsaw. Travel outside Lublin is charged, and we agree its cost individually in the quote, before confirming the date.
