Websites and shops
Online shops
on WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Shoper
We design a shop as a buying process: the customer should reach payment without wondering what to click, and orders should reach the warehouse system without being retyped by hand.
Why a shop does not sell as much as it should
Weak sales often have several small causes at once: a slow checkout, descriptions that do not match purchase searches, filters that customers do not use, and campaigns set up for traffic instead of sales.
With an existing shop we start with an audit that puts the fixes in order. Each item has an estimated impact on sales and an implementation time, so you can see straight away what to do in the first week and what can wait until the next quarter.
The mistakes we see most often in shops:
- Forced registration before purchase, with no guest checkout option
- Delivery cost revealed only at the last step of the basket
- No BLIK or instant transfer among the payment methods
- Product descriptions copied from the wholesaler, the same as the competition's
- A shop that takes more than four seconds to load on a phone
WooCommerce, PrestaShop or Shoper
We choose the platform to fit the size of the catalogue, the budget and the systems the shop needs to connect to. We advise, but we do not impose. If you already have a shop on one of these platforms, it is often cheaper to fix it than to move it.
| Platform | When it makes sense | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce | Flexible requirements, a shop linked to content and a blog | Needs tidy plugins and regular updates |
| PrestaShop | Large catalogues, extensive attributes and product variants | A higher barrier to entry |
| Shoper | A quick start without maintaining your own infrastructure | A fixed platform subscription, less freedom to change the code |
We also look after existing shops: see PrestaShop maintenance. If you want to check first where your orders are slipping away, start with a shop audit.
Integrations with your warehouse, payments and couriers
Stock levels, prices, orders, invoices and shipments should flow between the shop and your system automatically. Retyping by hand takes time and causes errors that end in complaints, returns and the sale of goods that are not in stock.
- Warehouse systems: InsERT (Subiekt GT and nexo), Insoft, WAPRO
- BaseLinker
- MS SQL databases directly, when the API is not enough
- Payments: Przelewy24, PayU, Autopay, BLIK, deferred payments
- Couriers and parcel lockers (including InPost and DPD) via Furgonetka or directly
- Fakturownia and other invoicing systems
- Allegro and other sales platforms: one warehouse, many channels
The integration must know what to do when a product disappears from the wholesaler, when a price falls below the margin or when an order comes back from the warehouse with an error. We describe these cases before implementation, because they decide whether the connection will work without manual corrections.
You will find the details on our page about ERP and online shop integrations.
B2B shops: prices visible after login
In wholesale, price is often part of the negotiation, so a public price list makes talks with trading partners harder. Instead of hiding the whole shop from search engines, we separate the open catalogue from the prices.
The catalogue stays visible in Google. Prices are visible only to a logged-in customer, each according to their own price list. Price levels can be assigned by group or individually, and changing the terms for one customer does not require touching the whole catalogue.
- Individual price lists and discounts per customer
- A quotation basket instead of a classic order
- A sales panel for sending quotes and tracking enquiries
- Order history and one-click repeat of a previous request
- Credit limits and payment on deferred terms
Shop SEO: category descriptions and tidy filters
In a shop with a large catalogue, work on category and subcategory descriptions pays off. A category answers a broader search than a single product, so it can collect traffic from a whole product group.
Then there is the technical side, which is easy to forget, and content that attracts customers before they decide to buy.
- Category descriptions written for real purchase searches
- Product structured data: price, availability, reviews
- Filters, sorting and pagination without thousands of URLs with the same content
- Original descriptions for the best-selling items
- Guides and comparisons that attract traffic before the decision
What happens after the shop launches
After launch, real data starts coming in. The first weeks show where customers get lost and which products are worth promoting. These are sometimes different items from the ones that seemed most important at the planning stage.
We can also go on looking after the shop: we monitor import errors, uptime and speed at peak hours, and we periodically review the purchase path for points where customers end their visit.
We can take care of the server and the domain as well: we offer several types of hosting, including ones suited to WooCommerce and PrestaShop shops, and we handle domain registration.
Highly recommended! The shop was built very professionally, exactly the way I wanted. They also sorted out the hosting and the domain, so I did not have to worry about anything. Everything works as it should. Great communication and a professional approach.
Working together
How we work together, step by step
Range analysis
We check how many products you have, how they are described, where the data comes from and what the shop needs to integrate with. That determines the choice of platform.
Structure and design
Categories, filters and the purchase path are created before the visual design, so that the look can be matched to the way customers search for products.
Build and import
Configuration, product import, VAT rates, delivery costs, test orders and payments on real data.
Launch and growth
We launch, watch the first orders and develop the shop based on what the sales data shows.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
The cost depends on the option (a ready-made theme or a custom design), the size of the catalogue and the scope of integration with your warehouse, payments and other systems. We price every shop individually: after a short conversation about your range and integrations, we prepare a free quote within 24 hours.
Yes. We connect shops with InsERT systems (Subiekt GT and nexo), Insoft and WAPRO, and with BaseLinker, and when the API is not enough, directly with the MS SQL database. We agree the scope of synchronisation (stock, prices, orders, invoices) individually.
We set up Przelewy24, PayU, Autopay, BLIK and deferred payments. You open the merchant account, and we connect it to the shop and test the full order path.
Yes. We move products, customers and orders and set up redirects to reduce the risk of losing visibility in Google. Without redirects a shop can lose traffic built up over years.
Yes. We have a range of hosting packages, including ones for WooCommerce and PrestaShop shops, and we handle domains. We choose the plan after a short conversation about the size of the catalogue and the traffic. You can also stay with your current provider.
Yes. As part of the build we set up the terms and conditions, the privacy policy, handling of the right of withdrawal, information on the lowest price in the last 30 days (Omnibus) and the mandatory consents.
